Bay Harbor Residents Protect Their Gateway Boulevard
As reported in the 2/18/07 Miami Herald, Kane Concourse is the next palm-lined gateway
to come under fire.  Under the guise of "pedestrian friendliness" another urban planner
suggested removing the concourse's royals.  Fortunately, the concept was "firmly rejected
by the Town Council."  Read

Other South Florida Cities Have Restored Their Boulevards
Biscayne Boulevard is Miami's tropical gateway.  However, given their way, FDOT will destroy the tropical elegance of Biscayne Boulevard forever.
Arthur Godfrey Road, Miami Beach
Cross the palm-lined Julia Tuttle Causeway and exit onto 41st Street/Arthur Godfrey Road to be reminded that we live in Miami - tropical paradise of the
United States. Also lined with royal palms, the thoroughfare is your "welcome mat" to Miami Beach.  It offers unparalleled tropical beauty,  clear store frontage
and charming sidewalks.  Shade is offered by storefront canopies.  Welcome to Main Street, Sub-tropic U.S.A.
