Palms Spotted on NW 17th Street
Driving southbound on I-95, a supporter of SavePalms saw something unusual
and sent us a tip.

Biscayne Boulevard's royal palms, which we are told are being relocated to
Watson Island, have been spotted in a yard at NW 17th Street & I-95 with root
balls exposed.  With recent temps in the low 50s (2/05 & 2/06), will their root
systems be compromised?

At estimated values of $6,000 to $10,000 each, who's counting?  Are
all
uprooted boulevard palms are being planted on Watson Island?

WHO'S COUNTING?  A tip from a SavePalms supporter
raises question: will the palms survive?

Concerned who's counting?
Ask Mayor Diaz or Commissioner Sarnoff who is counting the palms.

South Florida's rich history and sub-tropical landscape"
